Let us introduce you to another Titans alumni, Rebecca Anthone. Starting with Titans at a young age, Rebecca’s hard work in the pool help to define her as a strong and serious swimmer. Time to introduce a very important family to the Titans organization, the Bigham Family. Dennis Bigham and his two children, Miranda and Benjamin (both alumni swimmers) have always been extremely involved with our swim club. Whether it was volunteering, coaching, swimming, a Bingham could always be found on the pool deck. Dennis played an instrumental role on the Board of Directors, serving as President for a number of years, but his commitment to the overall organization has helped shape what Titans is today. We interviewed Dennis, Miranda and Benjamin, here’s...

In 1988, Western Empire State Titans merged with the Town of Tonawanda Swim Club, that is when our club became known as the Titans. The Titans organization gained more than a team name that year, they gained the English Family. Let us introduce you to mom Jody and her three children Jackie, Katie and Erin. JODY Jody served as our board president for years, was and responsible for sanctioning our very first swim meet at the Town of Tonawanda Aquatic and Fitness Center, was editor of the bi-monthly newsletter, The...

The 2021 summer season wrapped up at the Town of Tonawanda Aquatic and Fitness Center for the majority of the team with some truly amazing swims! We played host to TWST, Clarence Swim Club, and Amherst Swim Club bringing out total swimmers at the meet to 165. The Titans had 109 of them! We are so fortunate to be at this point in the season. We have trained hard, swam smart, learned what it takes to be successful, and had a ton of fun in the process. Saturday provided the...

Great job to those attending senior zones this past weekend. (Maya Marcyan, Lauren Levy, Paul Wissel, Bailey Wiegand, Ava Pauly) It was great to get back to a bigger high level meet and I look forward to attending these meets in the future with a larger number of swimmers. Getting relays to swim again and seeing each swimmer step up after going so long without relays was awesome. Lauren, Paul, and Maya had great individual swims and a few second chance swims at finals. All around it was fun and...

The Titans attended the BAAC Summer LC Spectacular Thursday July 29th through Sunday August 1st. Twenty-eight NI championship cut times achieved, 78 new swims, an amazing 134 best times, and a few DQ’s to learn from. Fantastic efforts by all! Thursday we had swimmers in the 200 Fly, 50 free, and the 1500 Free events....

Congrats to Lauren Levy for an outstanding weekend at Futures in Richmond, VA. Lauren walked away with personal best in all of her swims. This was a meet she has been looking forward to for 18 month and had a great experience. We look forward to next year and bigger meets to come. Very proud of her effort not only to qualify for this meet but to prepare through the year to show up there and have great success. Meet Results

Did you ever wonder how the Titans came to be? We learned a few months ago, that the Titans were originally called the Seahawks. But who started the Seahawks? Back in the day, there was a team known as the Water Buffaloes and not every swimmer was invited to join. These parents wanted their children to have a chance to swim too. So, thanks to the efforts of Sandy Watson and some other parents, the Town of Tonawanda Seahawks was formed. The initial development and all the early board meetings...
