The Buffalo Sports Commission Long Course Invitational was held the weekend of June 28th to the 30th at ECC’s Flickinger Center in Downtown Buffalo. We had over 40 Titans in attendance with some great racing in the Long Course meet. We had swimmers from Level 1 through 8 piling up some great swims and are excited for the rest of the summer swimming. The Titans made a day trip to Webster’s Aquatic Center on Sunday June 23rd to take advantage of some more Long Course race opportunities. Twenty-four Titans from Levels 1 through 8 attended the one-day meet. Last weekend the Titans swam at ECC at the STAR Long Course Kick Off Meet. We sixteen 12 and under swimmers attend the meet and lots of personal best swims. Our swimmers achieved 12 Niagara Championships cuts and 16 Championships Qualifier cuts. We had swimmers attend all 3 sessions available to them and they did a great job in all their events. The Natalie Lewis Spring Invite was a huge success. We want to thank all our Titan families for all the efforts this weekend. Parent volunteers are essential to running these meets and as you saw we needed all hands on deck for this one! The swimmers and coaches have been working hard leading up to this and the results were great for the beginning of our Long Course Season! The Titans ended the Short Course season with three amazing swimmers attending the 2024 Eastern Zone Short Course Age Group Championships in Webster NY March 27th – 30th. Andre Charlier, Elizabeth Homish, and Duke Neal represented the Titans at this elite level swim meet hosting nearly 200 teams and over 850 swimmers from all over the Eastern Seaboard. 14 and under Gold Championships The Titans Traveled to Webster again for the Niagara LSC 14 & Under Gold Championships. The team sent 24 swimmers to the three-day prelims/finals meet. We had a fantastic weekend of swimming with numerous personal bests, more Eastern Zone Cuts, a 31-year-old record was shattered, a ton of team spirit and a bunch of great relays! Titans showed up to the Niagara Open Championships ready to go! 30 swimmers combined for 82 personal best swims. 2 team records, 2 Future cuts, 2 additional NCSA cuts, 2 additional Speedo Sectional cuts and 3 Eastern Age Group Zone cuts.
