STAR Fall Classic results

The Star Fall Classic was held at ECC’s Flickinger Aquatic Center the weekend of November 7th to the 9th with 60 Titans in attendance. We sent swimmers from Level 1 through Level 8 to the 3-day event and saw some great racing. 

Level 1 sent 1 swimmer Julian Cassert. He cruched it with 5th place finish in the 25 breast and a 10th place finish in the 25 free. 

Level 2 sent 3 swimmers to the star invite this past weekend. The swimmers swam a combined 8 personal bests and learned some new ways to race. Emory Frommert dropped 2.43 seconds in the 25 freestyle and a new experience taking on the 25 breast which he also swam a best in. Peyton Frommert dropped 7.38 seconds in the 50 freestyle aswell as 3.22 seconds in the 25 freestyle. Hailey Szyprowski dropped 1.96 seconds in her 50 free, 0.32 seconds in her 50 back, and swam new personal best in the 25 back and 25 free. Overall a great meet for the group.

Level 3 sent 2 swimmers to the STAR Fall Classic Meet and they made up for their small numbers with some great swims. First up is Ava Leone who swam 4 events got 2 gold times and 2 silver times. She also achieved personal bests in 2 of the events. Our other swimmmer was Malina Szyprowski who swam 5 events with 3 best times and a new swim in the 50 breastroke. Great job girls! 
 
Level 4 sent 3 swimmers to the STAR Fall Classic and they as well had awesome swims despite the small numbers. First was Elliot Frommert who swam 3 events including 2 new swims in the 100 and 50 Breastroke. Next up was Oliver Frommert who went 3 for 3 with gold times and had a best time to boot. Lastly we had Hudson Willers who swam the 100 and 50 Breastroke, he got silver times in both events and personal bests in both. Great swimming boys! 

  Level 5 sent ten terrific Titans to the pool, and they piled up 39 personal best times, 28 Gold times, 13 Silver times, 5 New events conquered, and a few DQ’s to focus on at practice.  Lamya Boutakhoust had 2 personal bests in her Titans debut. Collins Bryant swam nothing but gold times, adding 3 personal bests to the team total. Lexi Carter had two personal bests crushing her 200 Breast time by over 30 seconds. Amelia D'Avirro was another Golden Girl swimming all gold times adding 4 personal bests to the group. Khloe Kibby posted a personal best in the 50 back and added the 100 Fly to her list of conquered events. Joseph Krieger cranked out 7 personal bests, 5 Gold and 5 silver times. Jeffrey Li also posted 7 personal bests, had 4 silver cut times and successfully swam the 200 Fly. Valerie Mattison was yet another Golder Girl with every effort a gold time adding 2 more personal bests to the total. Payton May went an amazing 5 for 5 all personal bests and all Gold cut times. Agnes Pendley swam strong with 2 personal bests, 3 Gold, and 4 silver cuts to her credit. Laila Tomsic put in great effort all weekend, adding the 200 Free to her list of events. Penelope Vester had a super weekend with 4 personal best times to her credit. Excellent swimming Level 5!

Level 6 sent 11 super swimmers to the meet, and they did phenomenal yet again! Piling up  34 personal best times, 28 Gold times, 15 Silver times, 2 more events swam and a few DQ’s to learn from. Jacqueline Adams kept it a sprint meet swimming 3 50’s for the weekend attaining a silver cut in the 50 Back. Vivienne Cabin had a great meet with 4 personal bests, 5 Gold and 2 Silver cuts. Benjamin DeLuke had a super showing with 6 personal bests, 4 gold and 3 silver times. Anthony DeLuke was able to race to 2 personal bests in 1 day of racing. Emilia Dewey swam to 5 personal bests, 7 gold times and 2 silvers. Derek Hufnagel had 5 gold times, 1 silver and 1 personal best. Abigail Krempa had a strong showing with 5 personal bests, 4 gold and 2 silver times. Josie Lyons had a great day of racing with 3 solid efforts and a new 200 Breaststroke silver swim to her credit. Harlow Martinez had 3 strong swims all silver times. Brayden May had 3 gold swims, 2 personal bests, and a few races to learn from. Eva Sutherland went an amazing 7 of 8 all personal bests crushing several previous best times by double digits! Amazing swimming to all of Level 6!

Level 7-8 sent 14 swimers. It was great to have the girls back at meets and to see where the boys are this time of the year as they get ready for HS season. Lucy Pendely had 3 huge drops in her 400im, 200br and 200fly, while tessa Michalowski posted 5 persoanl best, Posting 3 personal best included Gavin Miller, Duke Neal Ellie Homish, and Max Carter. Avery Conschafter and Matt Cwiklinski posted 2 personal best each. It was a meet that we saw improvements in underwaterwater and breakouts. I am looking forward to watching the progress throughout the season.
