Titans crush at NI Championships
The 2025 Niagara Long Course Championships were held over 4 days at Ithaca College July 17th – 21st. We sent 34 brave Titans to the meet from Levels 3 to 8. These Titans made us proud with nearly 150 personal bests, a number of new Gold Times from bonus events, 1 NI Champions records Meredith Roberts 50 breast, 3 team records Meredith Roberts 50 Breast and Atticus Hlublin 50 and 200 Breast and they pulled together some amazing relays! Thanks to all who made the trip and put in such amazing efforts all weekend!
Level 3 was represented by Oliver Frommert who had 5 total swims at the Champs making the most of his opportunities with 3 personal bests and a fantastic relay effort on Sunday.
Level 4 had five amazing Titans make the trip to champs and they were impressive all weekend! Collins Bryant had 4 personal bests, 5 Gold swims, 4 impressive relays and a 2nd place finish in the 50 Fly! Amelia D'Avirro put in 6 great individual efforts, 2 personal bests, and pitched in on 2 of our terrific Titan Relays. Valerie Mattison had a super meet with 4 personal bests, 3 great relay efforts, and a bunch of fun on deck. Payton May was simply amazing, 6 personal bests, all Gold times, and 5 phenomenal relays! Agnes Pendley was yet another amazing 10 and under swimmer for the Titans with 3 personal bests, and a great 400 Medley Relay on Thursday.
Level 5 sent four swimmers to the meet, and they swam a ton of fantastic races. Derek Hufnagel had 4 personal bests and made 2 trips to finals! Abigail Krempa had a super Champs with 7 personal bests, and 4 amazing relay swims! Brayden May could do no wrong swimming all personal best in the Ithaca pool, 2 trips to finals and an amazing relay swim on Sunday! Audrey Nudell continues to impress with 5 more personal bests all Gold times in her individual swims and 4 super Relay efforts.
Level 6 had outstanding efforts from the 5 terrific Titans that were able to attend the meet. Jacqueline Adams came one day to swim exceptionally well with 2 personal bests and 2 amazing relays. Nora Bronson put in a tremendous amount of effort all weekend with 9 personal bests in her individual events, finals appearances, and the 5 Relays she did so well! Vivienne Cabin piled up 8 personal bests, 3 top 8 finishes, and 5 amazing relays! Izabelle Castelletti came to swim fast on Sunday with 4 personal bests, a top 8 finish in the 50 breaststroke, and a super relay swim. Lola Schimmelpenninck had 4 strong efforts making finals in the 100 and 200 breast finishing 8th in both!
Level 7-8 Came ready to go!! Crushing the 800 free relay on day one followed up with Lucy Pendley in the 1500 dropping 40 sec. The rest of the weekend was much the same. We had Meredith Roberts winning 50,100,200 breast and 200IM, Ellie Homish winning the 200 Breast. We saw improvements by the swimmers throughout the meet like Emma Cwiklinski, Matt Cwiklinski, Kerrington Clouser, Lucy Pendley, Elli Homish improve in all 6 events, Duke Neal, Noah D'Avirrio improved in 5 events, Rowan Riley, Bri Rejewski, Max Carter, Andre Charlier, Tess Michalowski in 4 events, Alex Schuler, Atticus Hlublin in 3 events. Additionals strong showing of kids just at ther times came from Julia Cabin, Lucy Nudell, Ryan Bronson posting 2 personal best times each but played huge roll in the relays at team success.
