Greater Buffalo Sports Commission results
The Titans Attended the Buffalo Sports Commission invite at ECC the weekend of June 20th to 22nd. We had 47 Titans attend the meet swimming fast in our 3rd long course meet of the season. Swimmers from levels 1 to 8 were in attendance and they did us all proud!
Level 1 sent 2 swimmers to the meet to swim in the BIG pool, and they did fantastic! Emory Frommert crushed his 50 free time by over 3 seconds and Peyton Frommert dropped nearly 5 seconds in his 50 free and then went 3 seconds faster in his relay! Great job!
Charles Kondziela was the lone representative for Level 2 and he swam 2 personal bests in his 50 back and 50 free and stuck around to the end of the meet to pitch in on a relay. Super job Charlie!
Level 3 sent two Titans to the meet. Oliver Frommert had a fantastic meet with 3 Gold times, 2 personal bests and an amazing relay effort. Hudson Willers posted 2 personal bests, 1 Silver time, and had a super swim in his relay. Great job gentlemen!
Level 4 had 8 terrific Titans swim the meet piling up 29 personal bests, 10 Silver times, 15 Gold times, and a few DQ’s to learn from. Collins Bryant had 4 personal bests, 4 Gold times, 3 Silver times, and 2 amazing relay efforts! Elliot Frommert had 2 strong individual swims with a personal best in his 50 Breaststroke and added a strong relay swim on Sunday. Khloe Kibby swam a ton at the meet adding 4 personal bests to the team total dropping a total of over 50 seconds in her swims and put in a solid relay swim on Saturday! Valerie Mattison could do no wrong swimming all 7 of her individual events to personal best times, 6 Gold times, a Silver time, and 2 amazing relay efforts! Payton May had a super swim meet with 4 Gold times, 2 silver times, 2 personal bests, and 2 amazing relay swims. Agnes Pendley had a great meet starting it off with a 35+ second drop in her 200 free achieving Gold and continued to a total of 5 personal bests and 5 more Silver times. Maya Sengupta swam strong adding a personal best in her 50 back by almost 10 seconds! Mona Sengupta was another Level 4 swimmer that could do no wrong in the ECC pool going 4 for 4 all personal bests! Way to go Level 4!
Level 5 Level 5 sent 8 swimmers to the meet and had a great finish to the long course regular meet season. Derek Hufnagel and Brady May showed up in their events both swimming the 50 free and 50 breast, they also helped their relay get 2nd place in the 12 & under age group. Jeffrey Li and Audrey Nudell had busy weekends swimming all 3 days and doing outstanding in everything they swam achieving a combined 4 personal best times. Abby Krempa and Harlow Martinez also did great combining for 5 best times 8 silver times and a gold time! Lastly we had Lexi Carter and Maria Turner swim in the 13 & over division for the first time in long course. Lexi swam 5 events achieving 2 personal best times while Maria swam her first long course meet doing the 100 free and 200 IM. Great effort all around!
Level 6 sent six Titans to the meet and what we lacked in numbers we made up for in quality swims! These 6 swimmers were able to achieve 15 personal bests, 18 Silver times, 7 Gold times, and some great relay swims! Jacqueline Adams went 3 for 3 all best times, 2 Silver cuts, and strong relay efforts! Nora Bronson put in great efforts all weekend with 8 silver times, 3personal bests, 2 super relay swims, and a Gold time. Vivienne Cabin went an amazing 5 for 6 best times, 4 were Gold times, 2 Silver times, and 2 amazing relay swims. Emilia Dewey was another Titan that could do no wrong In the ECC pool going 4 for 4 all personal bests, 2 Gold times, 2 Silver times, and was fantastic in her relay. Lilah Pawelek put in great efforts all weekend swimming a silver time in her 50 free. Lola Schimmelpenninck put in great effort swimming right at her personal bests with 3 Silver times to her credit. Nice work Level 6!
Level 7-8 sent 18 swimmers to this meet. We are getting into our peak part of our training and the group is still performing at a high level. Leading the way was Max Carter, Matt Cwiklinski, Kerrington Clouser, Meredith Roberts each posting
