Last Splash Results

The Titans attended the Niagara Last Splash this weekend and had some awesome swims to end the short course season. We had 27 swimmers attend the 12 and under morning session at Sweet Home High School. We had 42 best times, 29 Silver qualifying times and a gold qualifying time. 

We had seven 8 and Under swimmers participate in the meet who all swam very well! One of those was Chloe Boheen who swam 3 events dropping a total of 10 seconds between two events and adding a new event in the 50 Breast, way to go! Another outstanding swim was from Mia Tutwiler who swam the 50 Free and 50 Back. She dropped 5 seconds in the 50 Free and broke 1:00 for the first time, outstanding! Lastly we had Gracie Wright who swam 4 events and led off the 200 Free Relay. She swam the 50 Free, 50 Back, 100 Free and 100 Back. She dropped time in all 4 including 21 seconds in the 100 free. Way to go!

We had seven 9 and 10 swimmers attend the meet with some great times and great attitudes. Some of our highlight swimmers were Aisylnn Almeter who swam 3 events having 2 new swims in the 50 Fly and 100 Breast. She achieved a gold time in the 100 Breast and a silver time in the 50 back, great job! Next we had Clarissa Boheen who swam 3 events dropping time in 2 and adding a new event in the 50 Breast. She also achieved a silver time in the 50 Breast, Outstanding! Lastly we had Valarie Mattison who had a busy weekend with the 200 IM and 100 Fly. She dropped 10 seconds in the 100 Fly and finished off a great short course season with a great performance. 

We had thirteen 11 and 12 age group swimmers participate in the meet and they did an outstanding job. First we had Jeffrey Li who swam 5 events on the day dropping time in all of them and achieving a silver time in the 50 free, Outstanding job! We also had two swimmers swim in their first Titans meet, Declan Walsh-Weinreib and Monica Gracie both swim 5 events doing a great job at their first meet. Lastly we had Joise Lyons swim two events for the first time. She swam the 500 Free and 100 Fly and crushed both events. She achieved silver times in both events and did a great job! The titans 12 and unders had a great finish to the season as we move forward to our long course season!

13 and over swimmers sent 13 swimmers to get one last chance to swim a race or try something new. Annabelle Vandriel tried out the 100 breast with success and dropped in the 500 Free and 100 free, Maria Turner tried 3 new events crushing those races, Lola Schimmelpennick dropped in 3 events, Avery Conschafter dropped in all 4 of her events, Lucie Drullard had 4 best times and crushed the 500 free in her first attempt at it, Samantha O'Connor at 3 personal best swims, Lucy Pendley had 3 as well, Lilah Pawelek posted 2 personal best as well. The kids battled through no rest between races and still had a lot of success. Great Job everyone.
