he 2025 Eastern Zone Age Group Championship Meet
The Titans sent 5 super swimmers to this elite level meet comprised of the best 14 & under swimmers from the entire Eastern Zone of USA Swimming (Virginia to Maine). Over 900 athletes were in attendance at this mega meet running 13 sessions in 3 and a half days.
Thursday, we had Ellie Homish swim right at her personal best in the 100 Breaststroke moving up 11 positions to crack the top 40 in the event! Our 10 and under wonders swam with great energy and effort. Emmy Dewey raced to a 15th place finish her 100 free and finished in 21st with a personal best in her 50 Breaststroke! Audrey Nudell came and crushed her personal best in the 100 fly by nearly 2 seconds moving up 3 spots to break into the top 30!
Friday saw some more fantastic efforts and we welcomed the Lucies to the pool. Lucy Nudell started off her meet with fantastic swims in the 100 back and 50 free just off her bests by 2 TENTHS of a second or less and moved up a total of 16 spots in the results. Lucy Pendley also came to race the 100 Back and the 50 free swimming strong right at her personal bests. The ten and under ladies, Emmy and Audrey swam 1 race each on Friday with tremendous effort. They both swam strong just a little off their personal best times.
Saturday was the last day of competition, and the Titans swam proud! Lucy Nudell had two personal bests, one in the 200 Back finishing 18th and had another in her 100 Free moving up 11 positions in the standings. Lucy Pendley also swam with great effort in the 200 Back and 100 Free just a bit off her bests. Ellie Homish swam the 200 Breaststroke and 100 free right at her personal best times moving up 6 places each in both swims. Our amazing 10 and under swimmers were great all weekend. Emmy Dewey swam with an amazing amount of effort in her 100 IM and 50 free. Audry Nudell delivered a personal best in her 100 IM by over 4 seconds and put in great effort in her 50 free to end the meet.
All five of these young ladies did the Titans proud through their effort in the pool and their behavior on deck. They had some fun and truly competed with the best of the best at this meet! WAY TO GO TITANS!
