NI Qualifier(Silvers) results

The Titans played host to the Niagara Silver Championship meet at the Aquatic Center February 28th through March 2nd and we had over 400 swimmers from 16 teams in attendance at the three-day event. This meet is a huge undertaking and all of the Titans in attendance can be proud of the exceptional job we did! Thanks to you all who helped make this another great meet hosted by the Titans! We had 66 amazing swimmers from Levels 3 to 8 do a fantastic job in this “cut time” prelim/finals meet. We piled up numerous personal bests, more Eastern Zone cuts, more Gold cuts and Silver cuts, some amazing relays, A high point winner, and we won the meet overall by over 400 points!

Level 3 sent 2 swimmers to our TTSC Niagara Qualifier Meet. First up is Grace Castelletti who swam 4 events throughout the weekend. She swam the 50 Free, 50 Back, 50 Breast and 100 Breast. She had placed top 10 in the 50 Breast with a best time and had a best time in the 50 Backstroke. Our other swimmer was Franklin Miller who swam 5 events. He swam the 50 Free, 50 Back, 50 Breast, 100 Free and 100 Back. He placed top 10 in the 100 Back, 50 Breast and 50 Back. He swam 3 new events and had a personal best in the 50 Back. Way to go Level 3!

Level 4 sent 11 amazing swimmers to the meet. They did an incredible job! They were able to truly shine at this one with 38 personal bests, 17 NI Gold times, 30 Silver times, amazing relay swims, and everyone contributed to the team’s overall success! Aislynn Almeter went 4 for 4 all personal bests 3 of them new Gold cuts! Collins Bryant had a great meet with 3 personal best and a new Gold cut. Lexi Carter was another amazing performer with 4 more personal bests and her 1st Gold cut. Amelia D'Avirro went 3 for 3 all best times, 1 new Gold, 1 Silver, and 1 new event conquered. Derek Hufnagel piled up 9 new personal bests, 3 Gold swims, and 9 silver swims. Joseph Krieger came to swim in 1 individual event, got his gold, and then pitched in on two amazing relays. Valerie Mattison went a Golden 3 for 3 with all three of her races yielding personal best Gold times. Payton May had 2 fantastic races with her personal best and a Gold cut in the 100 IM. Rosie Pashler raced to Gold in 1 event and had 2 more personal bests in her great meet. Agnes Pendley swam terrifically with 1 Gold and 3 personal bests. Maya Sengupta had a super meet with 3 personal best swims in her great efforts. Amazing Job Level 4, congratulations to all!

Level 5 sent 7 swimmers to the TTSC Niagara Qualifier Meet and they showed up at the meet. They combined for 11 Niagara Gold Times multiple top 5 and top 3 finishes and even two 1st place finishes. First up was Abby Krempa who swam 7 events across prelims and finals. She went best times in all 7 events she swam. She placed 5th in the 50 Fly and 15th in the 50 Back. Next up was Brayden May who had an excellent weekend. He swam 5 events over the weekend making finals in all 5 and placing 5th or better in everything. He also anchored both 12 and Under Boys relays which placed 1st in the age group. Last of the highlight swims was Izabelle Castelletti who 4 events over the weekend. She placed 1st in the 50 and 100 Breaststroke and also achieved her first NI Gold Cuts in those events. Way to go Level 5!

Level 6 swam strong all weekend. We had eight Titans representing us at the meet amassing 42 personal bests, 34 Silver cuts, 14 Gold cut times, Three 14 & U Eastern Zone cuts, a High Point Winner, and amazing relay efforts! Jacqueline Adams had super swims all weekend with 7 personal bests, 4 finals appearances, and her 1st Gold cut. Nora Bronson posted 7 personal best with 4 of them Gold times. Vivienne Cabin could do no wrong in the AFC pool. She swam all personal bests, all Gold times, won EVERY event & the ten and under high point award, and achieved three Eastern Zone cuts in her 200 IM 50 free, and 100 Breast! Emilia Dewey came to swim the 500 Free on Friday night and dropped over 25 seconds and then showed up Saturday and Sunday to help the 10 & U girls win both the 200 Free and 200 Medley Relays! Lucie Drullard showed what her hard work at practice has done by achieving her 1st Gold cut in the 50 Fly and 4 personal best times. Kaitlyn Forpahl put in strong efforts besting her personal best in the 50 free as well as a performance of the National Anthem at finals. Josie Lyons was busy all weekend with 10 personal bests, 11 Silver times, and her 1st Gold cut in the 50 Back! Lilah Pawelek had best times every time going 5 for 5 all personal bests, Silver times, with a final’s appearance in her 50 Back! Absolutely amazing swimming all weekend Level 6!

Level 7-8 sent 36 swimmers 163 best times, 34 new Gold times. Leading the way with nearly 100% best times in all events was Kerrinton Clouser, Heather Malkiewicz, Rowan Riley, Emma Cwiklinski, Chase Achatz, Ryan Bronson, Max Carter, Matt Cwiklinski, Elli Homish, Issac King, James Lyons, Reese Marcyan, Tess Michalowski, Gavin Miller, Max Miranda, Duke Neal, Lucy Nudell, Lucy Pendley, Lucia Santiago, Marley Sinatra, Kylie Szaflarski, Will Taylor, Abby Syprowski. The group have put in a tremendous amount of work and they were able to see the success from that work this past weekend. Good luck to the Boys at the HS State meet.
