Snowball Results
The Titans made the trip down the 219 to Orchard Park on February 8th to compete in TWST’s Winter Team Challenge. We had swimmers from Levels one to six attend the meet swimming with some great efforts in a challenging pool. The 23 amazing swimmers piled up 32 personal best times, 10 new swims, 7 Gold times, 21 Silver times, and a few DQ’s to focus on at practice.
Charles Kondziela represented Level 1 at the TWST meet. He swam the 50 Free, 50 Back, and 50 Butterfly. He gave immense effort and energy to all of his swims. Lucas Michalowski and Anthony Rodriguez represented Level 2 at the meet. Lucas swam an awesome 50 Free. Anthony dropped over 3 seconds in his 100IM. Great job to all swimmers!
Levels 3 and 4 saw fantastic efforts from everyone with so many great swims, new swims, personal bests and learning experiences to reflect on. James DeWitt showed off his new and improved dive posting best times in all 3 of his swims. Lucas Michalowski came for one strong effort in his 50 free. Anthony Rodriguez posted 2 personal bests in the 100 IM and 50 Breast. Aislynn Almeter swam well in her 4 events with 2 Silver times to her credit. Collins Bryant went 4 for 4 all Silver times with PB’s in her 100 IM and 50 back. Alexis Carter swam well in her 3 events, still recovering from illness. Evelyn Domagala did great in all 4 swims, adding 2 more PB’s to the team total. Derek Hufnagel was able to pile up 4 more Silver swims, 2 PB’s and was just a few tenths of a second off his Gold cut in the 50 free. Khloe Kibby went 3 for 4 best times with great determination in all her swims. Valerie Mattison had 4 great swims, 3 Silver times, and 2 new events 200 IM and 100 fly. Teddy Pavon had 3 personal bests adding the 200 Free to his list of events conquered. Wyatt Pavon had all bests at the meet adding 3 more events to his own list of events conquered, the 200 IM, 200 free and 100 breast. Agnes Pendley swam some great races, three were silver cuts and all 4 were right at her personal best times.
Levels 5 and 6 sent a great group to OP to swim fast and have some fun. Bianca Alderson had 3 great swims with a silver cut in the 50 free. Evelyn Dickerson put in great efforts adding 2 personal bests in her 50 & 100 backstrokes. Abigail Krempa had 4 great swims, a Silver cut , and a personal best in the 50 free. Harlow Martinez swam right at her bests with 3 Gold times and a Silver cut as well. Jacqueline Adams had 2 PB’s 2 Silver cuts and a great attitude on deck. Vivienne Cabin had 4 Gold times with a nearly 3 second drop in her 100 IM. Kaitlyn Forpahl and Lilah Pawelek put in great efforts in both of their 3 swims coming off High School season and illness.
This meet was a challenge alright… the pool was cloudy, the gym was cold, and the pool was hot… but the Titans did their absolute best to come away with an amazing meet!
