We had nineteen 12 and Unders make the trip out to Webster for this years Power Point swim meet. We had 59 personal best swims, 40 Silver times, 40 Gold times, and 1 Short Course Eastern Zones Qualifying time.
We had one 8 and under wonder in Lucas Michalowski who swam the 50 Free improving by 5.66 seconds to a time of 46.62, Way to go! We also had one 9-10 boy, Joe Krieger, who went 8/9 in best times and 9/9 in Gold cut times in his events. We had three 11-12 boys who all did well away from home. Teddy and Wyatt Pavon both added a new event this meet in the 50 fly and 100 back respectively. Derek Hufnagel had a great weekend getting 7 silver times and improving in 7 events.
We had ten 9-10 girls at the meet who all had great weekends. Some of the highlight swimmers were Amelia D’Avirro who had all best times and got 2 Gold times in the 100 IM and 50 Free. Agnes Pendley had a busy weekend swimming 9 events and dropping 10 and 23 seconds in the 100 breast and 200 free respectively. Harlow Martinez swam 6 events adding a new one in the 50 fly and achieved gold times in 5 of her 6 swims. Lastly we had the tandem of Emmy Dewey and Vivienne Cabin who in their combined 15 events placed 4th or higher in all of them. They combined for 15 gold times and Vivienne achieved her first Eastern Zones Qualifying Time in the 50 fly with a time of 33.17!
Our last age group was our 11-12 girls who put up a good show during the weekend. Alexis Carter swam well getting 4 personal best swims and a new silver time in the 100 back, way to go! Jackie Adams swam 3 individual events and lead off the 200 medley relay getting 3 silver times and 2 personal best swims. Khloe Kibby swam well adding a new event in the 200 IM and getting 2 personal bests in the 100 free and 100 breast. Lastly was Nora Bronson had 7 personal bests and added 2 new Gold cuts in the 100 fly and 200 IM. She also placed 8th and 9th in those events as an 11 year old. Our 12 and unders had a great meet as we get closer to our championship season and the spring season.
13-14 Swimmers showed up to swim lead by Lucy Nudell 8 persaonl best and an Age Group Zone cut time. Lucy Pendley, Elise Muffoletto each had 5 persoanl best, Ellie Homish with 4 personal best times with a 30sec drop in the 500 free, Tess Michalowski also with 4 PB's. Reese Marcyan went 3 for 3 improving in her events, more drops came from Max Carter, Meghan Huffnagel, and Emily Masker.
15-18 followed the lead from the younger groups lead the charge was Kerrington Clouser with 7 PB's and Matt Cwiklinski with 9PB's. Others showing great race work and improvements were Emma Cwiklinski, Chloe Marcyan, Dom Engel, Bryann Muffoletto, Rowan Riley, Mederith Roberts. Alex Schuler, and Ryan Bronson.
