The Star Invite was held at ECC Thursday December 5th through Sunday the 8th. Teams from all over the East Coast were there in the force for the Prelims/Finals formatted meet. Top 8 for the 10 and unders, top 16 for the 11-12 & 13-14 swimmers and top 24 returned at night for the 15 and over swimmers.

The Titans sent 25 of some of our fastest swimmers to compete in the mid-season test. This meet is a really fast meet and the swimmers had to show dedication and determination leading up to it to do well. The team pulled together numerous times, more NI Champs cuts and had some great relays.

This past weekend at the STAR invite the 12 & under swimmers did a great job competing and showing off the hard work they have been putting into practice. Some highlights from the meet, Chloe Marcyan took 3rd place in high point scoring, Meredith Roberts made 2 finals appearances as an 11-year-old, Bryn Muffoletto got her first 3 NI champs cuts, Grace Griffin had a phenomenal meet swimming best times in every event and winning the 100 breaststroke in finals! Madison Scarpace and Isaac King both swam championship cut times in their events! On top of that both our 10 and under and 11&12 women’s 400 free, 200 Medley, 200 free relays placed in the top 10. It was a great way to showcase the hard work these swimmers have been putting into practice since the beginning of the fall. We will continue to work on the small things such as technique and being more conscious about how we want to race our events. Keep up the good work Titans!!

The 13-14 swimmers had some amazing swims over the 4 day meet. Lila Roeser, Madeline Scibetta, Cierra Williams , Tara DeBoth, Paige Glor, Peyton Glor , Declan King, Haley Griffin, Natalie Fritsch, and Lauren Levy displayed great attitudes and effort all weekend. These swimmers combined for 20 new personal best times, swam great relays, and were on time for those early warm ups! Lauren Levy had another great effort making finals in all events, swimming smart in all her races. Natalie Fritsch swam a total of 5350 yards in competition….fast, winning the 200 fly!

Cierra Williams & Madeline Scibetta had personal bests in every swim and helped out phenomenally on relays. Declan King had personal bests in every event he swam, making finals in his 100 & 200 backstrokes! Haley Griffin made a finals appearance in the 200 back capping off a great meet!

The West Pool at ECC played host to the 15 and over swimmers in the morning preliminary session as well as the Finals in the evening. We saw some great efforts all weekend by the Titans in the cool waters of ECC. Maya Marcyan swam amazing all weekend, making finals in the 200 & 400 IM and the 100 & 200 Backstrokes. Samantha Bryk, Erin Cavanaugh, Kristiana Clouser, Lindsay Deboth, Maren Drews, Matthew Drews, Maya Flash, Natalie Hesch, Claire Malkiewicz, Alaina Roberts, and Christopher Signore all swam with determination and were able to pull together for some great efforts and helped out on some relays.

The Ladies returning to practice after their High school seasons had to show resilience, dedication, and put in a new level of effort to do well at this meet. The boys are right in the middle of their season and had to swim smart to do well at this one.

Three swimmers represented Level 1 at the SHAQ meet: Rhys Engelhardt, Thomas Testa, and Hailey Winterhalter. Rhys swam an awesome 50 Free! Hailey also swam a wonderful 50 Free in addition to the 50 Back. Thomas swam a stupendous 50 Free and 50 Back! Great job to all!

Level 2 had three swimmers compete in the SHAQ meet and they did a great job showing off all of their hard work. Level 2 has been focusing on stroke technique and having more confidence in competing. Ameika Paris, Nora Pashler, and Milania Scarpace all swam personal best times, way to go ladies keep up the good work!
Great way to wrap up the month with the SHAQ meet!

Level 3 had nine swimmers attend the meet last weekend and they did a great job racing! We have been working hard on all of our wall transitions and turns which showed with only one DQ over all! We had 17 best times throughout the level, shoutout to Lucy Nudell for improving in every event she swam! Way to go level 3!

Level 4 sent seven swimmers to the SHAQ Meet who were abler to compile a bunch of great swims, Anne Boscarino, Andre Charlie, Marcyan, Gavin Miller, Madison Scarpace, Abigail Szyprowski, and Lily Testa swam amazing in the one-day event at Sweet Home High School. We saw seven new events swam, new best times, twelve Championship Qualifier Meet Cut times, and 5 Niagara Championship Meet cut times achieved. The month of November Level 4 had been working hard on improving our turns and adding speed to our distance per stroke, and this meet was encouraging as we saw so much improvements on both sides of that equation.

Level 5 had six swimmers compete in the SHAQ meet and had some great races, showing off their hard work! We had 11 best time overall and shoutout to Harrison Roberts for swimming personal bests in every event! Level 5 has been working on endurance and challenging themselves to work hard and focus on the small things in practice, keep it up level 5!

Level 6 had a total of ten swimmers at the meet. Piling up 16 new best times, 22 Championship Qualifier cuts, 2 Niagara Championship cuts, and zero DQ’s! They have been seeing an increase in the amount of yardage in their practices adding to their endurance and reinforcing their technique! With the end of the Girls High School season and Neumann League the practices have been GREAT! William Boyle, Kerrington Clouser, Emma Cwiklinski, Lillian Hauser-Howells, Heather Malkiewicz, Meredith Roberts, Lila Roeser, Evan Schraufstetter, Cierra Williams, and Delilah Winker all put in tremendous efforts in their swims! From 30-second plus drops in the 500 to best times in every swim these swimmers were impressive!

Level 7-8 welcomes the girls back from HS season, Neumann League is now over and the kids can get back to club swimming. Amanda Hill and Aliana Roberts both had a very strong meet with 3 personal best. Paige and Peyton Glor followed with 2 persoanl best swims. We are looking forward to the STAR invite and the Holiday meet coming up in December.
