March 19-20 Meet results
What an amazing 2-day event the Prelim/Final meet was! Thanks to all the parents who outdid themselves for this time trial! Pulling together a 5 session event in 2 days used to “one of the easy meets” but in the past year we haven’t been able to even consider such a thing. Thanks to all who made it happen, swimmers, officials, volunteers, and Coaches have so much to be grateful for and to be proud of! Having TWST in attendance, added a great feeling of competition and hopefully made us all hopeful for the future of these meets.
Level 1 had an awesome weekend at the time trial and the meet. At the time trial we had great swims by Sadie Habib in the 100 backstroke with a time of 2:11.86 and Rosie Pashler who dropped 7.82 seconds in the 25 freestyle! Shoutout to Lannen Pawlek who dropped 27.84 seconds in the 50 freestyle and Anne Masse for qualifying for finals in the 50 free. We saw a lot of great races and are seeing an improvement in technique for level one. Keep up the good work!!!!
We had tremendous representation from Level 2 with a season high 15 swimmers participating in the time trials between Friday and Saturday. Quite frankly, I am so proud of each and every swimmer. This meet has really shown that Level 2 has made incredible strides this season, despite everything happening with COVID and how things are not normal. Yet that did not stop the incredible performances that myself, Coach Carolyn and Coach Sage saw this weekend. The growth on display was second to none and we are only going up from here! Here is to more time trials for Level 2 to do well in!
Level 3 had 12 swimmers attend our two day time trial. It was our first two day meet in a long time but the swimmers pushed through and ended with a lot of great swims and 30 new best times!
