Swim Team Season/Championship Summary:

A big congratulations to all of our swimmers on the St. Christopher School Swim Team! We had a fun season, filled with All Star Times, Elite All Stars, personal best times – and even record breakers!

Elise Muffoletto broke school records in: 25 freestyle, 25 backstroke, 25 butterfly, 50 freestyle and 100 IM!

Grace Griffin broke school records in: 50 breaststroke, 50 backstroke, 50 butterfly and 100 IM!

We had three eighth grade students swim with us this year. Congratulations to Meghan Hammond, Molly Odojewski and Nick Thomas – we will sure miss them next year and wish them love and luck in high school!

Our season culminated with our Championship Meet held on Sunday, November 10th at the University of Buffalo. Our school competed against 19 other schools, and all of our swimmers did amazing!

Congratulations to our swimmers who achieved a medal at Championships! They are as follows:

Our 8 & Under Medley Relay team finished first overall and received a gold medal! That team was comprised of Caylyn Barone, Christina Henel, Elise Muffoletto and Joan Yeskoot.

Our 8 & Under 100 Free Relay team finished third overall and received a bronze medal. That team consisted of Addison MacDougall, Christina Henel, Joan Yeskoot and Elise Muffoletto.

Elise Muffoletto finished first and received a gold medal for both the 25 Butterfly and the 100 IM in the 8 & Under age group.

In our 9 & 10 age group, Brynn Muffoletto finished first and received a gold medal for the 50 backstroke.

Our superstar swimmer – Grace Griffin – was unable to compete, as she had a sudden emergency surgery – but she was there cheering on her teammates and gave them extra motivation to swim fast!

We love all of our swimmers and can’t wait for next season!
